1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, basic principles, evaluation procedures, boundaries and energy consumption statistics, and the basis of the energy efficiency assessment of the refining process outside the furnace.
Quasi-energy consumption, actual energy consumption, energy efficiency index, energy efficiency analysis and energy efficiency optimization measures.
This standard applies to the energy efficiency assessment and energy saving potential analysis of the refining process outside the furnace of iron and steel enterprises.

3 Terms and definitions

4 Basic principles
The energy efficiency assessment of the refining process outside the furnace should follow the following basic principles.
a) Legal compliance principle. the assessment object should conform to national laws and regulations, meet the requirements of the steel industry policy, and comply with relevant energy conservation and emission reduction.
System standard requirements;
b) Efficient energy use principle. Promote efficient use and rational allocation of energy, and encourage enterprises to adopt advanced energy-saving technologies or management measures.
Improve low-energy production links;
c) Highlight key principles. Focus on key processes and equipment with high energy consumption and high energy saving potential, and focus on energy efficiency.
