Foreword
This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part 1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents"
Drafting.
This document is Part 2 of GB/T 36450 "Information Technology Storage Management". GB/T 36450 has released the following parts.
---Part 1.Overview;
---Part 2.General architecture;
---Part 5.File system;
---Part 6.Exchange structure;
---Part 7.Host Elements;
---Part 8.Media Library.
This document uses the redrafting method to modify and adopt ISO /IEC 24775-2.2014 "Information Technology Storage Management Part 2.General
Architecture.
Compared with ISO /IEC 24775-2.2014, this document has structural adjustments. Chapter 3 corresponds to ISO /IEC 24775-2.2014.
3.1, Chapter 4 corresponds to 3.2, 5.1 and 5.2 of ISO /IEC 24775-2.2014 correspond to 3.3 and 5.2 of ISO /IEC 24775-2.2014 respectively
3.4, Chapter 6 corresponds to Chapter 4 of ISO /IEC 24775-2.2014, and the number of subsequent chapters has been extended.
Compared with ISO /IEC 24775-2.2014, this document has technical differences.
The vertical single line (|) in the blank position is marked. The technical differences between this document and ISO /IEC 24775-2.2014 and the reasons are as follows.
a) The relevant content of the statement about the applicability of this document in "1 Scope" has been added to expand the scope of application of this document from the local area network to
Wan;
b) The references to ISO /IEC 24775-3 and ISO /IEC 24775-4 in ISO /IEC 24775-2.2014 are undated
Use, in the main text, because specific chapters are quoted, it is modified as a dated reference;
c) Added "3.5 Supplier" "3.19 Structured Peer-to-Peer Network" in "3 Terms and Definitions", and "CIM" in "4 Abbreviations"
"DMTF", "NAA", "SAP", "S-P2PN", "SRM", "WBEM", "XML", etc. are required to describe the extended content of the WAN
Terminology and abbreviations; deleted the original term "3.1.29" general SMI-S server", the original acronym "HMAC" "IMA"
"OS", "SES", "SSP" and other content not described in the document;
d) Added "7.3 Reference Model" and "11.1 Overview" regarding resource discovery requests and resource discovery message formats within the wide area network, etc.
Relevant content supplements the expanded content in the WAN;
e) Figure 6 is modified, and the structured peer-to-peer network protocol S-P2PN is added as the internal and external execution for this interface mode
method;
f) Added "12.1 Purpose", "12.2 Overview", "12.8 Directory Agent", and "12.10.3 Non-Multicast Configuration" regarding services within the wide area network.
Related content such as service deployment and resource discovery, so that the file can better adapt to the expansion of service deployment and resource discovery in the WAN;
g) Added "15.3.6 Service Discovery" about WAN service discovery and operations and other related content.
The following editorial changes have been made to this document.
---The ISO /IEC 14776-413 and ISO /IEC 14776-453 in the normative reference documents are deleted because they are not quoted in the text;
---Added informative appendix D "Expansion based on structured peer-to-peer network", which describes in detail the technical aspects of this document and ISO /IEC 24775
For technical differences, the ISO /IEC 24775 management structure has been verified through experiments, and it meets the requirements of standard scalability and applicability.

Introduction
GB/T 36450 "Information Technology Storage Management" is a recommended standard that guides the standardization of storage management in my country. It aims to adopt a unified
The standard management interface solves the interoperability of multi-vendor products and the management of cross-regional, multi-functional distributed storage systems. GB/T 36450
The compilation of "Information Technology Storage Management" is based on ISO /IEC 24775.Due to the long overall length and the content of it can be clearly divided into
For a relatively independent but related part, GB/T 36450 is intended to be composed of eight parts.
---Part 1.Overview. Provides a general overview of the GB/T 36450 series of standards.
---Part 2.General architecture. Contains basic information about the interface, such as security and protocols.
---Part 3.General configuration file. Contains component configuration files that can be extended to other parts of the configuration files, such as target ports and jobs
control.
---Part 4.Block equipment. Contains storage configuration files that support various forms of disk storage.
---Part 5.File system. Contains configuration files that support file systems, such as network attached storage (NAS).
---Part 6.Exchange structure. Contains configuration files that handle the interconnection of host servers and storage devices, such as switches.
---Part 7.Host element. Contains configuration files for storage software on the host server, such as disk partitions and host hardware RAID
Controller.
---Part 8.Media Library. Contains configuration files for handling removable media, such as tape libraries.
Among them, the general architecture defined in this document is the core architecture of storage management, which provides a general transmission model, health and fault management, and standard
Related components and protocols for interoperability management of storage devices, such as quasi-information and service discovery.
Information Technology Storage Management
Part 2.General Architecture
1 Scope
This document specifies the core structure and protocol requirements of the storage management plan specification. The structure mainly includes the following parts.
---Transmission. Exchange management information between the components of the management system;
---Health and fault management. detect faults by monitoring the status of storage elements;
---General information of the object model;
---Name. How to use the name of the storage management plan specification to allow the application to pass the storage management plan specification and other standards
Association;
---Standard information. how to display exceptions to the client application;
---Service discovery. The technology used by the client to discover the storage management plan specification service within the wide area network;
---Installation and upgrade. recommendations for implementation;
---Compliance. Comply with standard requirements.
This document is suitable for the design reference of storage equipment and network component architecture in distributed networks, and is an efficient storage resource in the wide area network.
Source query and service discovery provide general modules for storage management.
