1 Scope
This standard specifies the origin and characteristics of Xiaoshan chicken, body appearance, body weight, growth and development, reproductive performance, slaughter performance and determination
method.
This standard applies to Xiaoshan chicken breeds.

3 Origin and characteristics
The origin is Xiaoshan County, Zhejiang Province, with the townships of Guali, Yifeng, Kanshan, Jingjiang and Chengbei as the central production areas. Meat and egg-use local products

4 body appearance
Xiaoshan chicken is large in size, well-proportioned and compact in feathers. The single crown is erect, and the crown teeth are 5 to 8 in red. The meat clams and ears are red. rainbow
The color is orange. The skin and blemishes are yellow.
The adult cock is slightly curved, thick and short, with a yellow front and a brown base. The plumage is yellow and light yellow, and the feathers and saddle feathers are light red.
Color, tail feathers are black and shiny.
The adult hens are not high in crown, the scorpion is brownish yellow, the front end is slightly yellow, the base is brown, and the depth is different. The plumage is mostly yellow, and the feathers between the individuals
Slightly different depths, some individuals are chestnut-colored, a few individuals have dark spots on the neck feathers, and the tail feathers and wing feathers are mostly black.
The chick's fluff is pale yellow.
