Luyan White Pig was bred in Laizhou City, Shandong Province, and the breeding materials used included Yantai Black Pig, Sigur Pig Maternity and Landrace Pig.
The new varieties were bred in the stages of cross-fixation and directional cultivation. The proportions of Yantai black pig, Sigur pig mother and Changbai pig were respectively
25%, 25% and 50%. In December.2007, it was approved by relevant state agencies.

4.1 Appearance features
The body of Luyan White Pig is white, with moderate hair density, medium body shape, firm body and well-balanced structure. The head is light and the ears are medium and large.
