Law".
The technical differences between this document and ISO 4210-9.2014 and their reasons are as follows.
--- Replaced ISO 4210-1 with the normatively quoted GB/T 3565.1 to adapt to my country's technical conditions and increase operability;
--- In the "Overview" of "Saddle and saddle tube assembly---fatigue test", the requirements for testing the saddle tube are added to ensure the accuracy of the test results
consistency (see 4.4.1);
--- In the "test method" of "saddle and saddle tube assembly---fatigue test", the material and hardness of the pad used for the test, pad size
Tolerance requirements, type requirements for matching saddles and saddle tubes; change the test cycle "200,000 times" to "100,000 times" to
It is consistent with the same type of test method; the vertical downward force value "1000N" of the mountain bike and the competition bike are respectively
Change to "1130N" for mountain bike drop/shock drop saddles, "1200N" for mountain bike rigid/shock drop saddles,
"1200N" for racing bicycles to meet the needs of product mountain and road use environments (see 4.4.2, Table 2, ISO 4210-9.
4.4.2 of.2014);
--- In the "Overview" of "Saddle Tube---Fatigue Test Plus Static Load Strength Test", the adjustment requirements for the lifting saddle tube are added to standardize the test
conditions (see 4.5.1);
--- In the "first stage test method (fatigue test)" of "saddle tube---fatigue test plus static load strength test", the saddle tube is added
Fatigue test conditions to avoid repeating the saddle tube fatigue test; delete the extension device to simulate the saddle installation angle "10°" in order to be consistent with
The test method of the same type is consistent; the fatigue test force value "1200N" of the mountain bike saddle tube is changed to the mountain bike l
"1130N" for the drop/shock-absorbing saddle tube, "1200N" for the rigid/shock-absorbing saddle tube of the mountain bike, to meet the mountain use of the product
The needs of the environment; the schematic diagram of the saddle tube fatigue test has been changed for a more intuitive understanding (see 4.5.2, Table 3, Figure 5,
4.5.2, Table 2, Figure 5 of ISO 4210-9.2014);
--- In the "second stage test method (static load strength test)" of "saddle tube---fatigue test plus static load strength test", add
The subject of the saddle tube static load strength test is specified to avoid repeating the saddle tube fatigue test; the test force application point is "in the saddle clamping device"
Change to "horizontal backward extension device" in order to be consistent with the same type of test method; the static load test force value city and travel
Change from "2000N" to "1190N" for bicycles, "1500N" to "893N" for youth bikes, mountain bikes
"2000N" is changed to "1190N", and "2000N" of racing bicycle is changed to "1190N" to meet the requirements of the actual use environment of the product
Required; Delete the schematic diagram of "Saddle Tube Static Load Strength Test" and merge it with Figure 5 [see 4.5.3, Table 4, Figure 5b), ISO 4210-9.2014
4.5.3, Table 3, Figure 6].
The following editorial changes have been made to this document.
--- Change the name of the standard to "Bicycle Safety Requirements Part 9.Test Methods for Saddles and Saddle Tubes" in order to be compatible with the existing standardized documents
file coordination.

Introduction
GB (/T) 3565 "Safety Requirements for Bicycles" was drafted according to the safety requirements of bicycle products.
To produce bicycles that are as safe as possible. GB (/T) 3565 "Bicycle Safety Requirements" consists of 9 parts.
--- Part 1.Terms and definitions. The purpose is to unify the terminology used in each part of the standard.
--- Part 2.Requirements for city and touring bicycles, youth bicycles, mountain bikes and racing bicycles. purpose is
Classify the safety requirements of Category 4 bicycles into mandatory national standards for easy enforcement.
--- Part 3.General test methods. The purpose is to centralize and unify the general test methods for bicycle safety requirements and facilitate operation.
--- Part 4.Brake test method. The purpose is to carry out professional tests on the brake requirements in the bicycle safety requirements, and provide a basis for the brake test
Opportunities for method improvement.
--- Part 5.Test methods for handlebars. The purpose is to carry out professional tests on the handlebar requirements in the bicycle safety requirements, and to provide a basis for the handlebar test
Opportunities for method improvement.
--- Part 6.Test methods for frame and fork. The purpose is to conduct a professional review of the requirements for frame and front fork in bicycle safety requirements.
Test and provide opportunities for improved test methods for frames and forks.
--- Part 7.Test methods for wheels and rims. The purpose is to conduct a professional review of the requirements for wheels and rims in bicycle safety requirements
Test and provide opportunities for improvement of test methods for wheels and rims.
--- Part 8.Test methods for pedals and drive systems. The purpose is to meet the requirements for pedals and drive systems in bicycle safety requirements
Conduct specialized tests and provide opportunities for improved test methods for pedal and drive systems.
--- Part 9.Test methods for saddles and saddle tubes. The purpose is to conduct a professional review of the requirements for saddles and saddle tubes in bicycle safety requirements
Test, and provide opportunities for the improvement of test methods for saddles and saddle tubes.
GB 3565.2 is a mandatory national standard, and 7 test method standards (GB/T 3565.3~GB/T 3565.9) are recommended national standards
Standard, used in conjunction with GB 3565.2.These test method standards are designed to ensure the strength and reliability of individual components as well as the complete bicycle
It meets the requirements and requires consideration of safety issues from the design stage.
The scope of GB (/T) 3565 is limited to product safety considerations. If bicycles are used on public roads, national road traffic regulations must be followed.
Communication safety laws and related management regulations.
To improve repeatability and reproducibility, and to take into account suitability, size and operator effects for all types of bicycles, the test
The machine test method reflects the current advanced level and is more popular than the road test method.
The safety and quality of bicycles is related to the traffic life safety of consumers. Since 1983, my country has released three versions of
GB 3565.It has been 17 years since GB 3565-2005 was issued and implemented.
Provided technical support. GB 3565-2005 "Safety Requirements for Bicycles" is equivalent to ISO 4210.1996 "Safety Requirements for Two-wheeled Bicycles"
Require". In.2014, ISO 4210 was revised and released again, from the original 1 standard to 9 standards. For this reason, GB 3565 also changed from the original 1
One standard was revised into nine standards, and the standard level was synchronized with the international standard, and continued to provide technical support for the safety of bicycle products in my country.

4 Test method
4.1 Overview
For shock-absorbing saddle tubes, the test can be carried out with the shock-absorbing device in a free state or in a locked state. If the shock absorber is locked, the saddle tube
The test shall be carried out at the maximum length.
4.2 Saddle/saddle tube---clamping test
Correctly assemble the saddle tube on the bicycle frame with the minimum insertion depth (see the requirements of 4.16.2 in GB 3565.2-2022), according to the
The saddle clamping bolts should be tightened to the torque recommended by the manufacturer, and the saddle should be connected to the saddle at the position indicated on the saddle beam mark or instruction manual provided by the saddle manufacturer.
Tube clamped. At a distance of 25mm from the front or rear end of the saddle, select the point that produces the maximum moment on the saddle to apply a downward vertical force F1, keep
The force is applied for 1min; after the force is removed, at a distance of 25mm from the front or rear end of the saddle, select a point that produces the maximum moment on the saddle to apply a lateral force.
Horizontal force F2 (see Figure 1), maintain the force 1min. The force values are given in Table 1.The test equipment should not cause damage to the surface of the saddle.
