1 Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions of ultrasonic testing of ductile iron, general requirements and testing methods. This standard applies to general-purpose ductile iron and the thickness of 10mm ~ 500mm ductile iron within the scope of defects in ultrasound Detection. This standard does not apply to ductile iron spheroidization rate detection and penetration detection methods.
