This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for standardization work Part 1.Structure and drafting rules for standardization documents"

This document replaces GB/T 3475-2008 "Technical requirements and test methods for speed control systems of marine diesel engines" and is compatible with GB/T 3475-
Compared with.2008, in addition to structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.
a) The definition of speed regulation system (see 3.1,.2008 edition, 2.1) and the definition of steady-state speed regulation (see 3.3,.2008 edition) have been changed.

This document describes the technical requirements and test methods for marine diesel engine speed control systems.
This document applies to the design, manufacture and acceptance of marine diesel engine speed control systems.

3 Terms and Definitions
The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 6809.7, GB/T 21404 and the following apply to this document.

speed governing system
A device that can automatically adjust the fuel supply according to load changes to maintain a stable speed of the diesel engine.
Note. The speed control system mainly consists of sensors, speed controllers, speed control actuators and adjustment mechanisms.

When the speed is changed, the difference between the stable no-load speed and the rated speed is expressed as a percentage of the rated speed, and is calculated according to formula (2) and formula (3).
