1 Scope

This standard specifies the dual ketone (aldehyde reagent) turbidimetry, chromogenic acid colorimetry and basic fuchsin-sulfurous acid colorimetric method for the determination of aldehydes method. This standard applies to the determination of trace amounts of aldehydes in chemical reagents.
