With the rapid development of information technology, the pace of sports informatization in my country is getting faster and faster. The construction of sports information system and the flow of sports information are becoming more and more important.
Communication and sharing have become an important aspect and means to support the high-quality development of sports. From information collection, storage, retrieval, exchange and aggregation to information

Therefore, how to classify and code sports information scientifically, orderly, uniformly and in a standardized manner is the key to realizing informatization.

The content of sports information is extremely rich, covering sports training and competition, sports fitness and entertainment, sports economy and industry, sports organizations and institutions.
In order to promote the smooth progress of information classification and coding, we should do a good job in top-level design and organize the system from the overall perspective.
It is the consensus of scientists and standard workers in this field to formulate corresponding national standards for classification and coding.
GB/T 34308 aims to establish information classification and coding applicable to the sports industry and is intended to consist of five parts.
