Pressure Pipeline Specification Long Distance Pipeline
1 Scope
1.1 This document specifies the materials, design, calculation, construction and installation, inspection and testing, safety protection, trial operation and commissioning of onshore oil and gas long-distance pipelines.
Basic requirements for production, use, maintenance and emergency repair.
Note. For the composition of long-distance pipelines, see Appendix A.
1.2 The scope of onshore long-distance oil and gas pipelines is shown in Figure 1.The pipelines within the solid lines and solid frame in the figure are applicable to this document.
Note. Long-distance pipelines extend into refineries, oil depots, city gas gate stations, gas storage facilities, LNG receiving stations, gas power plants, oil (gas) processing plants and other factory boundaries.
The interface between long-distance pipelines and other types of pipelines is described in the design documents.
