Fire protection test method for marine products
1 Scope
This standard specifies the test requirements, procedures and methods for testing the ignition protection of marine products using a mixture of propane and air.
This standard applies to marine products ignition protection test and acceptance, marine explosion-proof equipment, intrinsically safe equipment and in hydrogen and air
Parts used in the mixed gas can refer to use.
2 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
2.1
Combustible hydrocarbon gas mixture flammablehydrocarbonmixture
Ignition in any way between the lower explosive limit (LEL) and the upper explosive limit (UEL) can cause an explosive mixture of propane and air.
2.2
Sealed hermeticalysealed
The gap is sealed by welding, brazing, melting glass, or the like to prevent the air pressure from changing when the air pressure or ambient temperature changes or both

b) A resistor or other element may ignite a combustible hydrocarbon gas mixture at temperatures high enough;
c) Mars, which produces sufficient energy when the two materials collide with each other, may ignite the combustible hydrocarbon mixture.
3 test requirements
The test preparation and test requirements for various electrical installations are as follows.
a) For electrical installations that have an electrical connection, or other arc ignition source with sufficient energy to ignite a combustible hydrocarbon gas mixture,
The test shall be prepared in accordance with the provisions of Chapters 6 to 8 and in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 9 for the ignition of the internal air mixture
test;
b) For electrical installations with heating elements (eg resistors), the test shall be prepared in accordance with the provisions of Chapters 6 to 8 and in accordance with paragraph
10 provisions of the test;
c) Electrical devices classified as ignition protection for igniting combustible hydrocarbon gas mixtures that do not emit sufficient electrical energy, shall be tested
Use the test equipment described in Chapter 5, Energy Tester, and prepare and test in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 11;
d) The potential ignition sources for sealing are classified as electrical components for ignition protection and shall comply with the requirements of 7.1 and 7.2 and shall comply with the requirements of 12
