This standard applies to the understanding and communication between the device designer, the manufacturer, the operator and the manufacturer of the plant. This standard adopts international units, but other legal units can also be used. This standard applies only to cases where the flow and head are positive. This standard does not apply to the terminology, characters and units of rotary power pumps, volumetric pumps and their components. Symbols and definitions consistent with ISO 80000-1, if possible, may be further explained at the appropriate location of this standard. In order to maintain consistency, this standard also gives some differences. |

Foreword
GB/T 33925 "liquid pumps and their devices common terms, definitions, quantities, characters and units" is divided into the following two parts.
--- Part 1. Liquid pump;
--- Part 2. Pump system.
This section GB/T 33925 Part 1.
This section drafted in accordance with GB/T 1.1-2009 given rules.
This section uses the translation method identical with ISO 17769-1.2012 "liquid pumps and their devices common terms, definitions, quantities, characters and units
Part 1. Liquid pump. "
For ease of use, this section made the following editorial changes.
--- In the term "type number", an increase of "Note 4" gives the formula for the number of our formula (see 2.2.8.1);
--- In the term "specific speed", an increase of "Note 6" gives the formula for calculating the specific speed of our country (see 2.2.8.2);
--- In the term "cavitation than the speed", an increase of "Note 6" gives the calculation of cavitation than the speed of the formula (see 2.2.8.3);
--- In the term "cavitation ratio speed", the addition of "Note 7", shows the relationship between type and speed (see 2.2.8.3).

Liquid pumps and their devices General terms, definitions, quantities,
Characters and units Part 1. Liquid pumps
1 Scope
This section GB/T 33925 defines the transmission medium for the liquid rotary pump, positive displacement pump and its related terms, characters and
unit. This section applies to device designers, manufacturers, operators and factory makers understanding and communication. This section adopts international
Institutions, but other legal units can also be used.
This section applies only to flow and lift is positive conditions.
This section does not apply to rotary power pumps, displacement pumps and their components with terms, characters and units.
For symbols and definitions conforming to ISO 80000-1, where possible, further explanation may be given in the appropriate section of this section. for
Consistency, this section also gives some differences note.
2 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
Note. The definitions given in this section first show the most common expressions for frequently used variables after they have been placed in a quantity. Use the symbols and angles given
We can compose other variables and deduce the corresponding symbols. For example, "work" and "design" prefix also apply to the definition of volume.
