6 Test methods
6.1 Determination of main dimensions and dimensional deviations
Place the test piece on a flat plate or flat ground surface, use a steel tape
measure or steel ruler which has an accuracy of not less than 1 mm per meter
to perform the test.
The dimensional deviation is the difference between the product’s design size
(identified value) and the measured value.
6.2 Determination of shape and position tolerance
6.2.1 Vertical degree of adjoining side
Use a steel ruler or steel tape measure which has an accuracy of not less than
1 mm, to measure the two diagonals and the length of the opposite side of the
rectangular plate or frame, the difference is the measured value of the vertical
degree of adjoining side.
6.2.2 Warpage
It shall use the warpage measuring instrument with an accuracy of not less than
0.1 mm. Select the panel with the most warpage, place the measuring
instrument on the diagonal of the panel, to measure the maximum distance as
the measured warpage value.
6.2.3 Plane deviation
Use a steel tape measure or steel ruler which has an accuracy of not less than
1 mm per meter, to measure the height of the midpoint of each group of opposite
sides of the rectangular table above ground; for the round table surface,
measure the height of the highest point on the circumference above the ground
as well as the height of the other symmetrical point which passes through the
circle’s center above the ground, the ratio of their difference to the side length
or diameter is the evaluation value of the plane deviation.
the value of the left-and-right swing of the drawer side is the evaluated value of
the sag and swing.
6.2.9 Landing stability of foot
Place the test piece on the flat plate or the flat ground surface, so that the test
piece touches the ground on three feet, use a feeler gauge to measure the
distance between the other foot and the flat plate.
6.3 Determination of appearance performance
6.3.1 Decolorization, color loss
In the outward appearance of the product or in the internal finishing locations,
respectively check 3 positions, use hand to hold the wet degreased white gauze
to wipe each position back and forth for three times with appropriate force. The
reciprocating distance of the wiping is 200 mm ~ 300 mm. Observe whether the
gauze is stained by the color from the finished part.
6.3.2 Glass parts
Under the natural light of near natural light (for example, 40 W fluorescent lamps)
in the illuminance range of 300 lx ~ 600 lx, at a position 600 mm from the
specimen, carry out visual inspection. In accordance with the measurement
needs, the defect size is measured by a steel ruler or tape measure which has
an accuracy of not less than 1 mm as well as a vernier caliper which has an
accuracy of 0.02 mm.
6.3.3 Others
Under the natural light of near natural light (for example, 40 W fluorescent lamps)
in the illuminance range of 300 lx ~ 600 lx, within the sight distance 700 mm ~
1000 mm, arrange three persons to inspect it jointly, use most of the same
conclusions as inspection results.
6.4 Determination of safety performance
6.4.1 Structural safety
6.4.1.1 Determination of holes and gaps
In accordance with the force value shown in Table 8 and the slip gauge
measurement by cone diameter, observe whether the cone can pass. The cone
is made of plastic or a hard, smooth material, wherein the tolerance of the
diameter 5 mm and 6 mm cone is 0/-0.1 mm, the tolerance of the diameter 12
mm cone is 0.1/0 mm.
purchaser.
6.5 Determination of physical and chemical performance
6.5.1 Determination of physical and chemical performance of surface
coatings/covering materials
The physical and chemical performance of the surface coating/covering
materials of the products are determined in accordance with Table 5.
6.5.2 Determination of physical and chemical performance of product
parts
The physical and chemical performance of the product parts are determined in
accordance with Table 6.
6.6 Determination of mechanical properties
It is determined in accordance with the provisions of Table 7.
7 Inspection procedures
It is performed in accordance with the principles that the previous inspection
has no impact or minimal impact onto the subsequent inspection results.
8 Inspection rules
8.1 Classification of inspection
The inspection is divided into two types. exit-factory inspection and type
inspection.
8.2 Exit-factory inspection
The exit-factory inspection is the inspection carried out when the product is exit-
factory or the product is delivered. The product can only be sold after passing
the exit-factory inspection.
8.2.1 Exit-factory inspection items
The exit-factory inspection items are the following contents of this standard.
a) Main dimensions and their deviations;
b) Shape and position tolerances;
c) Requirements for appearance performance;
8.3.1 Type inspection items
Type inspection is a comprehensive assessment of the quality of the product,
that is, all the items related to the product as specified in clause 5 are inspected
(when the entrusting party does not provide the relevant contract requirements,
the contract-required items as specified in this standard are not in the routine
type inspection item). When items other than those specified in clause 5 are
required to be inspected, it shall provide enterprise’s product standard
provisions or the contractual provisions of the product, the inspection shall be
carried out in accordance with the relevant standards or contracts provided.
8.3.2 Timing of type inspection
Type inspection shall be carried out in one of the following cases.
a) When the trans-plant production of new product or old product is subject
to trial production for finalization;
b) After formal production, if there are major changes in structure, materials
and processes, which may affect product performance;
c) During normal production, periodically or after accumulating a certain
amount of production, the inspection shall be carried out periodically, the
inspection period is generally one year;
d) When the production is resumed after suspension for more than half a
year;
e) When the exit-factory inspection result is significantly different from the
results of previous type inspection;
f) When the national quality supervision agency requests the type inspection.
8.3.3 Sampling rules for type inspection
In one inspection cycle, randomly take 2 samples from the recently produced
products, one for inspection and one retained.
8.3.4 Test methods of type inspection
It is performed in accordance with the provisions of clause 6. The specimens
for the surface coating/covering material test shall generally be obtained directly
from the product under inspection, or be made under the same process
conditions as the product under inspection.
8.3.5 Assessment of type inspection results
8.3.5.1 For the inspection results of single product, if the basic items are all
