Foreword
GB/T 31971 "Ships and marine technology - Marine environment protection. performance testing skimmers" includes the following three parts.
--- Part 1. dynamic water conditions;
--- Part 2. Static water conditions;
--- Part 3. High viscosity oil.
This section GB/T Part of 231,971.
This section drafted in accordance with GB/T 1.1-2009 given rules.
This section uses the translation method identical with ISO 21072-2.2009 "Ships and marine technology - Marine environment protection. performance test skimmers
Part test 2. Static water conditions "(in English).
Consistency correspondence between this part of international documents and normative references of our files are as follows.

Performance testing - Part 2. Static water conditions
1 Scope
This section GB/T 31971 specifies the skimmers to quantitatively determine the performance data in the static water conditions of the process, so that end users can
Objective enough to judge, compare and evaluate different types of skimming device design and performance. This method is suitable for testing in the sink and the provisions of the oil
Control features and slick feature requests.
This section applies to the size of the device in the test tank size to limit the scope of the various types of skimmers. Under controlled conditions, this test procedure
Were tested device and one or more oil provides a full range of test results. When using these test results are used to predict the actual skimmer
Performance when working conditions need to be cautious.
For dedicated/embedded systems, test procedures described in this section apply only to the same type of skimming equipment, but not for the entire skimming
Oil system.
