3 Moisture content
3.1 Method summary
A certain quality of the sample at 105 ℃ ± 5 ℃ drying to constant, in order to reduce the quality of the original mass of the sample accounted for as a percentage of moisture
content.
3.2 Instrument
3.2.1 electric oven with thermostat device, along with a blower or natural ventilation.
3.2.2 Analytical balance, precision 0.1mg.
3.2.3 dryer, built-in desiccant (not deliquescent block calcium chloride or silica gel).
3.2.4 weighing bottle, 70mm × 35mm.
3.3 Operation
Weigh 1g ~ 5g (weighing accuracy of 1mg) sample (particle size less than or equal to the requirements of 0.900mm), into the pre-dried to constant weighing
Bottle, sample weighing uniform thickness of the bottom surface. Placed inside the temperature was adjusted to 105 ℃ ± 5 ℃ the electric oven, dried 3h ~
4h, removed, placed in a desiccator, cooled to room temperature (takes about 30min) after weighing.
Then check test each drying time was 60min, until the sample is less than the reduction or increase in mass 0.0050g far,
In the latter case, it must be based on a mass gain as calculated before.
