This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1:1-2020 "Guidelines for standardization work Part 1: Structure and drafting rules for standardization documents"

This document replaces GB/T 30757-2014 "Classification of basic dense shaped refractory products with residual carbon content of 7% to 50%" and
Compared with GB/T 30757-2014, in addition to structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows:

1 Scope
This standard specifies the classification of carbon residue (after carbonization) of 7% to 50% alkaline and dense shaped refractory products named.
This standard applies to the amount of carbon residue (after carbonization) of 7% to 50% alkaline dense shaped refractory products.
Note. All products can be external wrapping sheet metal, sheet metal or metal with added fiber reinforced.

3.1 classification principles
Carbon residue (after carbonization) of 7% to 50% alkaline dense shaped refractory products according to the following five principles Category.
a) type of product;
b) grades, based on magnesium oxide content, carbon content and determining the presence or absence of anti-oxidants;
c) types of raw materials;
d) combining form;
e) post-processing.
3.2 Products Category
Products are divided into the following four categories.
a) magnesium carbon (MC);
b) magnesium-enhanced lime carbonaceous (MLC) (containing lime and/or synthetic MgO-CaO sintering material);
c) magnesium dolomite carbonaceous (MDC) (calcined dolomite with natural materials);
d) dolomite carbonaceous (DC) (including natural composite sintered material).
