This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for standardization work Part 1.Structure and drafting rules for standardization documents"

This document replaces GB/T 30041-2013 "Specification for the selection of head protection helmets".
In addition to structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.
a) The scope has been changed (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the.2013 edition);
b) The general provisions have been modified (see 4.1, 4.1 of the.2013 edition);
c) Added the options for head protection equipment types (see 4.2);
d) The selection of head protective equipment functions has been changed (see 4.3, 4.2 of the.2013 edition);
e) The selection of head protection equipment styles has been changed (see 4.4, 4.3 of the.2013 edition);
f) The color selection of head protective equipment has been changed (see 4.5, 4.4 of the.2013 edition);
g) Changed the material selection for head protection equipment (see 4.6, 4.5 of the.2013 edition);
h) The use and maintenance of head protective equipment have been modified (see Chapter 5, Chapter 5 of the.2013 edition);
i) The rejection criteria for head protective equipment have been changed (see Chapter 6 of the.2013 edition).

1 Scope
This document specifies the selection requirements of head protective equipment, the use and maintenance requirements of head protective equipment, and the rejection of head protective equipment.
