This document replaces GB/T 29379-2012 "Technical Regulations for Storage and Transportation of Virus-Free Potato Seed Tubes", and is consistent with GB/T 29379-2012
In addition to structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.
a) The definition of defective potatoes has been changed, deformities have been deleted, and collision injuries have been added (see 3.1,.2012 version 3.1);

1 Scope
This document specifies the post-harvest handling, packaging, labeling, transportation, storage preparation, storage volume and stacking, and storage of virus-free potato seed potatoes.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
Defectivetuber
Horsebells with defects such as secondary, skewered potatoes, cracks, insect damage, frostbite, grass wear, black core, hollow, sprouting, dehydration and wilting, mechanical damage, collision damage, etc.
Potato tubers.
4 Post-harvest treatment
4.1 Field treatment
4.1.1 After seed potatoes are harvested, rain and freezing damage should be prevented.
4.1.2 Diseases, rotten and defective potatoes should be eliminated.
4.1.3 After the field harvest, according to the level of seed potato judged by GB 18133, it shall be directly transported or warehousing according to the variety and level.
4.2 Processing before warehousing
4.2.1 After the seed potatoes are harvested, the temperature should be lowered. The temperature of the seed potatoes should be lower than 18℃ before they can be stored in the natural ventilated warehouse.
4.2.2 Seed potatoes can be stored directly in the forced ventilation warehouse after harvest.
5 Packaging and marking
5.1 Use packaging with good air permeability, and it is advisable to use sack, woven bag, mesh bag, rigid box, etc. The packaging should be intact and sterilized.
5.2 The packaging should be labeled and meet the requirements of GB 20464.Indicate the variety name, grade, place of origin, variety registration number, seed production
