Determination of thickness
1 Scope
This standard specifies the method for determination of a liquid crystal display (LCD) with a polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) film thickness.
This standard applies to mechanical measurements on liquid crystal display optical grade PVA film thickness measurement, also suitable for packaging PVA
Film, PVA film with some other prosthetic determination PVA film product thickness.

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
Optically functional film opticalfunctionalfilms
With a variety of original film and functional film excellent optical performance is mainly used in flat panel displays.
4 Instrument
Meter is a mechanical thickness gauge, shall meet the following requirements.
a) thickness measuring instrument should be able to reach 1μm accuracy.
b) measuring instrument should have a planar surface and a lower surface measuring surface on a plane or convex surface measurement, all measurements should face

5 Sample
Cut the sample size depending on the state of the sample may be, shall meet the following requirements.
a) shaft film credits from the full width of the sample, if desired, can be sampled at 1m in the longitudinal direction of the sample, the sample width of not less than 100mm.
A total of three samples. Sampling is shown in Figure 1;
b) cutting the film into small volumes, each volume in the credits of the film samples, each sample length not less than 100mm; individual measurements per roll film
