Summary This standard specifies the drinking and non- drinking water (up to 110��C) supply pipes like vulcanized rubber gasket material requirements. This standard specifies the identification code of the various seal ring according to the type, purpose and requirements identified (see Table 3). This standard also provides for the finished ring general requirements. For special applications the additional requirements should be in the appropriate product standard. Attention should be drawn that the pipeline interface performance and seal material properties, geometry and tube seal interface structure. Where applicable, the provisions of this standard shall be the same pipe interface to work together with the performance of product standards. This standard applies to cast iron pipe, steel, ceramic pipes, asbestos cement pipes, cement pipes, reinforced concrete pipes, plastic pipes and glass fiber reinforced plastic pipe and all pipe joints seals. This standard applies to composite or non- composite elastomer seal part. For the hardness range 76 IRHD ~ 95 IRHD of composite material seals, sealing effect only when the material involved or require long-term stability when applicable seals elongation, compression set and stress relaxation requirements. 1 Scope
