3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 Optical foundation
3.1.1
Optical radiation opticalradiation
X-ray wavelength of the transition region (λ≈1nm) and electromagnetic radio waves to the transition zone (λ≈1mm) between the radiation.
3.1.2
Visible radiation visibleradiation
Optical radiation can directly cause visual sensation.
Note 1. The spectral range of visible radiation, no clear boundaries, because it reaches the retina and radiated power, but also with the response of the observer has
turn off. In general, the lower limit is taken in the visible radiation between 360nm ~ 400nm, between 760nm and the upper limit taking at ~ 830nm.
Note 2. This standard lens for spectacles, visible radiation is defined between 380nm ~ 780nm. The restrictions are also given in ISO 20473 corresponding provisions.
