This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part 1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents"

This document replaces part of the contents of GB 25523-2010 "Safety Requirements for Mining Machinery Front Shovel Excavators", and is the same as GB 25523-2010.
Compared with.2010, except for structural adjustment and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.
a) Deleted the requirements that the equipment should meet when the excavator is used in a low temperature environment below -30°C (see 4.1.5 of the.2010 edition);
b) Added safety requirements for working at heights maintenance area (see 5.1.7);
c) Added emergency exit requirements for driver's cab (see 5.2.6);
d) Changed the safety requirements of the driver's cab (see 5.2.9, 4.2.8 of the.2010 edition);
e) Changed the seat requirements of the driver's cab (see 5.2.11, 4.2.10 of the.2010 edition);
f) The requirements for the high pressure limit in the emergency stop device are added (see 5.3.2.6);
g) Changed the general requirements for air control and lubrication systems (see 5.4.1, 4.4.1 of the.2010 edition);
h) Changed the safety requirements of the pneumatic control system (see 5.4.2, 4.4.2 of the.2010 edition);
i) Added safety requirements for operating boarding ladders (see 5.4.2.6 and 5.6.1.8);

1 Scope
This document specifies the safety requirements for the physical performance and intended use of mining machinery front shovels, and gives the mining machinery front shovels.
Dangerous factors that may occur during the entire life cycle of the excavator. Hazards related to general mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, lubrication and other equipment
risk, not included in this document.
This document applies to mining machinery front shovel excavators (hereinafter referred to as "excavators") for surface mining.
