1 Scope

This document specifies the grades, technical requirements, test methods, and inspection methods of standard silica sand for testing foundry binders (referred to as standard silica sand for casting). Inspection rules as well as packaging, marking, transportation and storage. This document applies to the production and inspection of standard silica sand for calibrating foundry binders.
