1 Scope

This standard specifies the method for determination of pulp, paper and paperboard in arsenic content. This standard applies to all kinds of available nitric acid digestion of wet pulp, paper and paperboard. This standard provides two methods for the determination of arsenic content, ie hydride generation atomic fluorescence spectrometry and silver colorimetry.
