This revised standard adopts ISO 5264-1. 1979 "Pulp Laboratory beating - Part 1. Valley (Valey) beater Law" (English
Chinese Version).
This standard ISO 5264-1. Compared to 1979, the main differences are as follows.
--- With GB/T 462 "Paper, paperboard and pulp - Determination of water sample for analysis" instead of ISO 287. 1985, MOD and ISO 638.
1978, MOD;
"Solutions wet pulp from the lab," --- with QB/T 1462 instead of eqvISO 5263. 1979;
--- The ISO 5264-1. 1979 in Chapters 1 and 2 of this standard combined in Chapter 1.

1 Scope
This standard specifies the use of laboratory Valley beater beating method. This method only with pulp, beating, sampling, sample distribution
And beating equipment.
This standard applies to all kinds of pulp.
Note. The beating was to test the physical properties of the pulp of the preparatory phase.
In practice, for some very long fiber pulp, such as cotton linters, you may not get satisfactory results as determined by this method.

Principle 3
A certain amount of a predetermined concentration of pulp in the beating, beating process at regular intervals between the Valley beater knife and bed knife sampled.
4 instruments and equipment
Common laboratory equipment and the following.
4.1 Valley beater, see Appendix A.
4.2 timer.
4.3 balance, weighing the sample error should be less than 1g.
4.4 distilled or deionized water or equivalent purity.
NOTE. In order to avoid the use of different opposition parties about the quality of water that may arise, especially recommend the use of distilled water or equivalent purity.
Preparation 5 samples
5.1 For the wet pulp or dried pulp, weigh a certain amount of the sample according to GB/T 462 Determination of their absolute dry matter content; the liquid slurry, in accordance with
GB/T 5399 Determination of their absolute dry matter content.
5.2 Remove the oven dry equivalent of 360g ± 5g sample (sample should not be cut, and to avoid access to the sample at the cutting edge). For paper machine drying
Flash-dried pulp or clumps, which was completely soaked 4h above applications 5L water (4.4) at room temperature. The soaked specimens torn about
25mm × 25mm small pieces. To ensure that the initial dissociation produce minimal beating effect, the sample should be thoroughly soaked through pine
soft. Soaking wet slurry may then be dissociated.
