This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard replaces GB/T 24283-2009 "propolis".
The main changes of this standard compared with GB/T 24283-2009 are as follows.

1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, test methods, packaging, marking, storage and transportation requirements for propolis and propolis ethanol extracts.
This standard applies to the production, processing and trade of propolis and propolis ethanol extracts.
