This standard replaces GB/T 23762-2009 "Test Method for Purification of Photocatalytic Material Aqueous System". This standard and GB/T 23762-
Compared with.2009, the main technical changes except for editorial changes are as follows.
--- Modified the scope of application of the standard (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the.2009 edition);
--- Deleted the terms "photocatalyst" and "photocatalytic degradation rate" (see 3.2 and 3.6 of the.2009 edition);
--- Modify the test temperature requirements (see 5.1, 9.1 of the.2009 edition);
--- Modified the pollution marker, using phenol instead of methylene blue as a pollution marker (see 5.2, 9.2 in the.2009 edition);
--- Modified the range of visible light irradiance (see 5.3, 9.4 of the.2009 edition);
--- Revised the content of reagents or materials (see Chapter 7, Chapter 7 of the.2009 edition);
--- Modified the detection instrument and used high-performance liquid chromatography to determine the concentration of phenol (see 8.1, 8.1 in the.2009 edition);
--- Modified the power of ultraviolet light source and visible light source (see 8.3, 8.3 of.2009 edition);
--- Modified the name of "Particulate and Thin Film Photocatalytic Reactor" and the size of the catalytic reaction bed frame
8.4.2);
--- Modify the size of "film or sheet samples" (see 9.3, 9.5.3 of.2009 edition);
--- Modified the time of sample pretreatment, and increased the requirement of sample preservation time (see 10.1, 9.6 of.2009 edition);
--- Modify the standard curve drawing steps (see 10.2,.2009 version 10.1);
--- Revised the speed of centrifugal separation (see 10.4.1 and 10.5.1,.2009 version 10.3.1 and 10.4.1);
--- Increased the provisions of the visible light source irradiation time (see 10.5.1 and 10.5.2);
--- Modified the measurement procedure of photocatalytic stability (see 10.6,.2009 version 10.5);
--- Modified the unit of photocatalytic degradation (see 11.1, 11.1 in.2009 edition).

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
Photocatalytic materials for water purification
Under the excitation of a certain wavelength light source, it can produce a photocatalytic effect and is suitable for the purification of aqueous solutions.
Note. It can be a non-supported photocatalytic material or a photocatalytic material supported on a fixed carrier.
3.2
Unit removal amount
The amount of photocatalytic material per unit mass or unit area that removes pollution markers per unit time.
Note. The unit is milligrams per minute gram [mg/(min · g)] or milligrams per minute square centimeter [mg/(min · cm2)].
3.3
Removal rate
At the end of the reaction within the specified time, the ratio of the removal amount of the pollution marker to its initial amount is expressed as a percentage.
3.4
Photocatalytic degradation
The difference between the unit removal amount of the pollution marker under light conditions and the unit removal amount under no light conditions.
Note. The unit is milligrams per minute gram [mg/(min · g)] or milligrams per minute square centimeter [mg/(min · cm2)].
3.5
Stability of photocatalytic materials for water solution purification
Photocatalytic stability
After a period of continuous photocatalytic purification reaction, the photocatalytic material still maintains the performance of degradability. After continuous photocatalytic purification
The ratio of the measured amount of photocatalytic degradation to the measured amount of photocatalytic degradation in the first standard photocatalytic degradation test is expressed as a percentage
