Crane driver training Part 3.Tower cranes 1 Scope This document specifies the special requirements for training tower crane (hereinafter referred to as "tower crane") drivers. 2 Normative references The contents of the following documents constitute the essential clauses of this document through normative references in this document. ISO 4302 Cranes - Wind load assessment 3 Terms and Definitions There are no terms or definitions that require definition in this document. 4 Training content according to tower crane type Practical or theoretical training should take into account the following characteristics depending on the type of tower crane. a) Positioning of loads; b) Type of lifting control, such as stepless speed regulation; c) Boom type, such as horizontal boom, folding boom, telescopic boom, articulated boom or movable boom; d) Installation/disassembly type, such as assembly type, self-erecting type, walking type or fixed type, climbing inside or outside the building (theoretical training); e) Special operating precautions when multiple people use the same tower crane.
