GB/T 23594-2009 "Methods for chemical analysis of Sm-Eu-Gd Concentrate" is divided into two parts.
--- Part 1. Determination of total rare earth oxide gravimetric method;
--- Part 2. fifteen rare earth element oxide with components measured by inductively coupled plasma emission spectrometry.

Gravimetric method
1 Scope
This section provides for the determination of total rare earth oxide Sm-Eu-Gd Concentrate.
This section applies to the determination of samarium rare earth oxides of europium, gadolinium total Concentrate. Measurement range. solid Sm-Eu-Gd Concentrate 90.00% ~
99.00%; liquid Sm-Eu-Gd Concentrate 100g/L ~ 300g/L.
2 principle of the method
Sample was dissolved in hydrochloric acid, in the presence of ammonium chloride under the conditions, pH > 9 with an aqueous ammonia precipitation of rare earth, separated calcium, magnesium. Nitrate and perchlorate
Acid destruction of paper, dissolve the precipitate, removed from the filtrate after the silicon with rare earth oxalate precipitation, the pellet burning into oxides, constant weight.
3 Reagents and materials
3.1 ammonium chloride.
3.2 hydrochloride (ρ1.19g/mL).
3.3 HCl (1 + 1).
3.4 hydrochloric acid (0.0119g/L).
Nitrate 3.5 (ρ1.42g/mL).
3.6 perchloric acid (ρ1.67g/mL).
3.7 Hydrogen peroxide (30%).
Ammonia 3.8 (1 + 1).
3.9 ammonia - ammonium chloride washing liquid. 2g of ammonium chloride dissolved in 95mL water, adjusted to pH9 ~ pH10 with aqueous ammonia when used.
3.10 oxalic acid solution (100g/L).
3.11 oxalic acid wash (10g/L).
3.12 cresyl violet ethanol solution (1g/L).
4 Instrument
4.1 high-temperature furnace. temperature > 1000 ℃.
4.2 platinum crucible.
5 Sample
5.1 solid sample Sm-Eu-Gd oxide concentrate burning at 950 ℃ 1h, placed in a desiccator, cooled to room temperature, and immediately weighed.
Sm-Eu-Gd sample 5.2 solid carbonate concentrate weighed immediately after opening.
5.3 Sm-Eu-Gd Concentrate liquid sample dispensing shake.

6.1 Sample
6.1.1 Solid samples samarium europium, gadolinium oxide concentrate of. Weigh 0.2000g sample (5.1), accurate to 0.0001g.
