This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard replaces GB/T 23127-2008 "Electrical appliances connected to water sources to avoid siphon and hose assembly failure", and GB/T 23127-
Compared to.2008, the main technical changes except for editorial changes are as follows.

1 Scope
This standard specifies the requirements for household and similar electrical appliances to prevent non-drinking anti-siphon flow into the water source, and also specifies the connection of such appliances
The requirements of the hose assembly for water supply to the water pressure not exceeding 1MPa.
Note 1. Similar uses include appliances installed in canteens, restaurants, laundries and public places.
Note 2. This standard does not apply to the following appliances.
--- Utensils for dry cleaning;
--- Medical appliances;
--- Industrial appliances;
--- Water heater integrated in water supply system;
--- Water cooler integrated in the water supply system.
Note 3. The connection between the appliance and the water source can be temporary or permanent use.
Note 4. "Water source" also includes water supply from water supply tanks or similar systems.
Note 5. The relevant national regulatory authority may also require the prevention of contamination of drinking water due to inappropriate materials upstream of the anti-reverse flow device.

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

Potablewater
It is obtained directly from drinking water sources and keeps the water in the closed-loop system in front of the anti-backflow device.
3.2
Non-potablewater
Water flowing out of the closed-loop system after flowing through the anti-backflow device.
3.3
Backflowpreventiondevice
A device to prevent non-potable water from counter-currently polluting potable water.
