This standard compared with GB/T 12096-1989 The main changes are as follows.

1 Scope
This standard specifies the method for the determination of starch fineness of sieving.
This standard applies to dried powdered starch and modified starch.
2 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this standard.
