Foreword
This standard is identical with ISO 5810. 1982 "chloride content of starch and its derivatives potentiometric titration" (in English), because of the
Older version, to meet current needs, slightly adjusted structure, contents remain the same, only made editorial changes.
This standard replaces GB/T 12093-1989 "starch and derivatives chloride content determination."
This standard and GB/T 12093-1989 compared to major changes are as follows.
--- Standard name changed to "determination of chloride content of starch and its derivatives";
--- Improve the standard format, according to the International System of Units standardized units.
This standard is proposed and managed by China General Chamber of Commerce.
This standard was drafted. Chinese Chamber of Commerce Business Standard centers, food, Jiangnan University, China Starch Industry Association modified starch
professional committee.

Determination of chloride content of starch and its derivatives
1 Scope
This standard specifies the method of potentiometric titration of chloride content of starch and its derivatives.
This standard applies to the determination of chloride content of starch and its derivatives, but not for cationic starch and high viscosity after cooling
Starch and its derivatives.
Principle 2
With a standard silver nitrate solution as a reference, it was determined by potentiometric titration.
3 Reagents
Use analytical grade reagents and distilled water or equivalent purity.
3.1 nitrate. Ba = 70% (mass fraction), ρ20 = 1.41g/mL.
3.2 silver nitrate standard solution. Ba = 0.05mol/L or 0.02mol/L.
4 Instrument
4.1 Beaker. 250mL.
4.2 Pipette. 1mL.
4.3 Burette. 10mL.
4.4 Analysis of balance. a sense of the amount of 0.0001g.
4.5 potentiometer or pH meter. Scale should millivolts indexing, and corrected in accordance with instructions for use.
4.6 Electrode
4.6.1 silver - silver chloride electrode.
4.6.2 reference electrode for measuring the potentiometer chloride electrode system.
4.7 variable speed magnetic stirrer.
5 Operation
5.1 Sample preparation
Mix well samples.
5.2 said sample
According to Table 1, the estimated chloride content Weigh samples of adequate quality, accurate to 0.001g.
