Chemicals biodegradability.
Closed bottle test
1 Scope
This standard specifies the chemical biodegradability. Closed bottle test method overview, test preparation, test procedures, quality assurance
And quality control, data and reports.
This standard applies to quick biological test water-soluble or poorly water-soluble, non-volatile, or adsorption of volatile chemicals
Degradation.
2 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this standard.
2.1
Test substance exhibiting a limited time in contact with the inoculum biodegradability.
2.2
The amount of oxygen consumed by the microbial decomposition of organic matter, can be expressed as the number of milligrams of oxygen (mg/mg) of the test substance consumed per milligram.
2.3
In strong acid and heating conditions, a certain amount of dichromate oxidation of reducing substances in water samples of the amount of oxidant consumed, can be expressed as millimoles per
Oxygen milligrams (mg/mg) g of the test substance consumed.
2.4
Calculated according to the formula of the total amount of the test substance is completely oxidized oxygen required, it can be expressed as oxygen consumption per mg of the test substance in mg
The number of grams (mg/mg).
2.5
Start of the test to the degradation rate of 10% of the period.
2.6
10d test time biodegradation rate of 10% after.
2.7
Standstill period to the end of the degradation rate of 90% of the maximum degradation rate of the period.
