Foreword
This standard is identical with the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) guidelines for testing of chemicals No. 302C (1981 Nian) "Improved MITI
Test (Ⅱ) ".
This standard made the following editorial changes.
--- Increase the scope, terms and definitions, quality control;
--- The units of measurement to our legal units of measurement.
Appendix A of this standard is an informative annex.
This standard is managed by the National Standardization Technical Committee chemicals dangerous (SAC/TC251) and focal points.
This standard is drafted by. Environmental Protection Department of the Nanjing Institute of Environmental Sciences.
Participated in the drafting of this standard. Chemical Registration Center of the Ministry of Environmental Protection, Shenyang Research Institute of Chemical Safety Evaluation Center, Shanghai detection
center.

Chemicals
Inherently biodegradable modified MITI test (Ⅱ)
1 Scope
This standard specifies the chemical inherent biodegradability modified MITI test (Ⅱ) method overview, test preparation, test procedures, quality
Volume control, and reporting of data.
This standard applies to testing at test concentrations of non-volatile, no inhibitory effect on micro-organisms, non-reactive with CO2 adsorbent chemicals
Inherent biodegradability.
2 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this standard.
2.1
Under optimum conditions, the test substance for a long time in contact with the exhibit inoculum potential for biodegradation.
2.2
The amount of oxygen consumed by the microbial decomposition of organic matter, can be expressed as the number of milligrams of oxygen (mg/mg) of the test substance consumed per milligram.
2.3
Calculated according to the formula of the total amount of the test substance is completely oxidized oxygen required, it can be expressed as oxygen consumption per mg of the test substance in mg
The number of grams (mg/mg).
3 test substance information
a) the formula;
b) an aqueous solution of a quantitative analysis method;
c) the main component of the composition ratio;
d) microbial toxicity.
4 Summary of Method
4.1 Principle
This standard is determined by measuring the biochemical oxygen demand (BOD) and residue analysis test was evaluated by the modified MITI Test (I) screened
Low biodegradable inherent biodegradability.
In the test substance as the sole carbon source, under the premise of the test was no microbial adaptation, the use of automated, closed oxygen measurement
Apparatus (BOD meter), the microorganism was inoculated into the test container containing the test substance. During the test, a time interval measurement test solution
BOD values. BOD values \u200b\u200bmeasured by chemical analysis (such as determination of the concentration of dissolved organic carbon or the residual concentration of chemical substances, etc.), namely,
Operators biodegradation rate.
4.2 reference material
In order to detect the activity of activated sludge should be set reference substance test, at present there is specific reference material. The standard recommended aniline (new
Distilled), sodium acetate or sodium benzoate as a reference material. If you use other reference material, the test report shall be stated.
