Determination of flash point - Closed cup equilibrium method
1 Scope
This standard specifies a method for determination of paint, varnish, paint binders, solvents, petroleum or related products flash point.
This standard is not suitable for determination of water-based paint, water-based paint may be used determination method of ISO 3679.
This standard applies to a temperature range depending on the instrument used varies from -30 ℃ to 110 ℃ (see Table 1).
Results mixed solvent containing halogenated hydrocarbons measured should be given attention, as these mixed solvents may give irregular results.

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this standard.
3.1
Under test conditions, the test sample vapor ignition source such that the occurrence and spread burning liquid surface, then corrected to 101.3

5 Chemicals
