This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009. This standard replaces GB/T 21120-2007 "synthetic fibers for cement concrete and mortar". 1 Scope

The following terms and definitions apply to this document. 3.1 Synthetic fiber syntheticfibre A chemical fiber made from a synthetic polymer compound. 3.2 Polypropylene fiber polypropylenefibre A fiber made of a polypropylene resin which is then spun by melt extrusion. 3.3 Polyacrylonitrile fiber A fiber produced by polymerizing an acrylonitrile monomer or copolymerizing with other monomers and then spinning.
