This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009. This standard replaces GB/T 20445-2006 "planing material." The main technical changes compared with GB/T 20445-2006 are as follows. --- Modify and add some terms and definitions; --- Expand the planing material for tree species; --- Adjust the planing material size deviation, increase and adjust some of the material indicators; --- part of the description of the test method has been modified; --- Part of the moisture content of the sample test method is modified, an increase of electrical measurement method. 1 Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions of planed material, technical requirements, test items and methods, inspection rules and packaging, marking, storage and transport. This standard applies to the production of planed timber, processing and distribution areas.

3 Terms and definitions
