This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for standardization work Part 1.Structure and drafting rules for standardization documents"
Drafting.
This document replaces GB/T 2035-2008 "Plastics Terms and Definitions". Compared with GB/T 2035-2008, except for the structural adjustment and compilation
In addition to logical changes, the main technical changes are as follows.
a) Added wireless in-mold temperature measurement device (3.1), abrasive wear (3.2), wear wheel (3.3), accelerated aging test (3.4), nitrile rubber
(3.8), activated sludge (3.11), activation (3.12) and other terms to meet the technical requirements of my country's industry;
b) Deleted absolute modulus (2.1), acetone resin (2.4), additives (2.11), α-loss peak (2.27), alternating copolymerization
(2.29), alternating stress (2.30), amino plastics (2.32) and other terms to meet the technical requirements of my country's industry;
c) revised addition polymerization (2.10), aging (2.22), alternating copolymers (2.28), atactic stereoblock (2.51),
Terms such as stereopolymer (2.52) and diversion plug (2.58) are used to adapt to the technical requirements of my country's industry.

Plastics Terminology
1 Scope
This document defines the terms used in the plastics industry, including those of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Plastics (SAC/TC15) and
Definitions, as well as general terms and definitions in polymer science with a focus on plastics technology.
This document applies to plastic materials.
Note 1.When a term has one or more synonyms, the synonyms follow the preferred term. The synonyms are then listed in the correct alphabetical order.
Deprecated terms are indicated by "Deprecated".
Note 2.The names of polymers based on their origin are governed by IUPAC rules, whereby parentheses are used when Poly is followed by more than one word.
In IUPAC format, brackets are usually omitted.
Note 3.For olefins, the names commonly used in the plastics industry shall be used rather than the (scientific) names recognized by IUPAC, e.g. polyethylene shall be used for
Shown instead of polyethene.
NOTE 4 Some definitions in this document begin with information in angle brackets. This is intended to indicate domain-specific definitions.
Note 5.To avoid ambiguity, the part of speech of the term (i.e., "noun", "verb" or "adjective") is indicated where necessary.
2 Normative references
This document has no normative references.
3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
< Rotational Molding> A device that can measure the temperature inside the rotational molding mold through wireless transmission technology.
3.2
Abrasive wear
< Abrasion test > The material is lost due to the cutting or scraping action of the grinding wheel, which cuts into the soft surface and carves a series of grooves.
Phenomenon.
3.3
Abrasive wheel
< Abrasion test> Small grinding wheel or roller with sandpaper on the surface.
3.4
Accelerated-ageing test
Short-term tests designed to simulate the effects of long-term use conditions.
3.5
accelerator; promoter
In a chemical reaction system (reactants, other additives), a substance used in small amounts to increase the reaction rate.
