Foreword
This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard replaces GB 19854-2005 "General Rules for Explosion-Proof Technology of Industrial Vehicles for Explosive Gas Environments", and GB 19854-2005
The main technical changes are as follows.
--- Added definitions "fault", "expected failure" and "rare fault" (see 3.9, 3.9.1 and 3.9.2);
--- Removed the definition of "emergency braking function" and "emergency braking device" (see 3.7 and 3.8 of.2005 edition);
--- Increased the requirement for gas detectors to be installed in Gc-class vehicles (see 4.1.6.2);
--- Increased requirements for reciprocating internal combustion engines (see 4.1.4.1, 4.2.5.1, 4.3.3.1, 4.4.4.1);
---Modified the requirements of Gc, Gb battery packs (see 4.1.4.2, 4.2.5.2,.2005 editions 4.1.4.2, 4.2.5.2);
--- Increased the requirements of Dc, Db battery packs (see 4.3.3.2, 4.4.4.2);
--- Removed the appendix "List of Dangers" (see Appendix A of the.2005 edition);
--- Revised the vehicle grading method (see Appendix A, Appendix G of the.2005 edition);
--- Added the appendix "correspondence between this standard and relevant standards on vehicle grading" (see Appendix B);
--- Added the appendix "Introduction to the risk assessment of explosion-proof equipment by means of 'equipment protection level'" (see Appendix C);
--- Deleted the appendix "This standard chapter number and EN1755..2000 chapter number comparison list" (see Appendix E of the.2005 edition);
--- Added appendix "GB 3836.1-2010 and GB 12476.1-2013 for explosion-proof electrical equipment for explosive dust environment
Correspondence of the method of labeling (see Appendix G).

General rules for explosion-proof technology for industrial vehicles for explosive atmospheres
1 Scope
This standard specifies the safety requirements and safety measures for industrial vehicles used in explosive atmospheres, including load handling devices (hereinafter referred to as vehicles).
Explosion-proof technical requirements such as inspection of these safety requirements and safety measures.
This standard applies to the design, manufacture and inspection of explosion-proof structures for industrial vehicles used in explosive atmospheres.
This standard does not apply to vehicles used in underground coal mines and explosive dust environments.
Note 1. The explosive environment is divided into.
a) Locations where gas, vapor or mist explosive gases may be present, defined as Zone 1 and Zone 2, respectively;
b) Locations where flammable dust may be present, defined as Zone 21 and Zone 22, respectively.
Note 2. Correspondence between vehicle grading and site zoning, as shown in Appendix A. In addition.
a) Explosive atmospheres of gases, vapours or mists may be further classified by Class II vehicles, depending on the type of gas mixture in the explosive atmosphere.
For IIA, IIB and IIC. Vehicles marked IIB may be applicable to the conditions of use of vehicles requiring the marking IIA; vehicles marked IIC
Applicable to the conditions of use of vehicles requiring the markings IIA and IIB, but not for flammable gases and vapour containing carbon disulfide
place.
b) Explosive atmospheres of dust and fly slags Class III vehicles may be further classified as IIIA according to the type of dust mixture in the explosive environment.
IIIB and IIIC. Vehicles marked IIIB may be suitable for use in vehicles requiring a sign IIIA; vehicles marked IIIC may be used
The conditions of use of vehicles requiring the markings IIIA and IIIB.
Note 3. When the vehicle is used in a place where the mixture is mixed, it is required to meet the requirements for gas, steam and mist as well as the requirements for dust.
Note 4. The fork, load handling device or associated attachment is a component of the vehicle; the attachment mounted on the carrier or fork is not a group of vehicles
Into the parts.
