This standard is based on "geographical indication protection regulations" and GB 17924-1999 "General requirements for geographical origin of products" to develop.
This standard replaces GB 19586-2004 "geographical origin of products Turpan raisins."
This standard compared with GB 19586-2004 main changes are as follows.
--- The standard is mandatory to recommended;
--- According to the State Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine promulgated the "Provisions on the Protection of Geographical Indication Products", modify the name of the contents;
--- Increase the term and definition "stunted fruit";
--- Amendments and supplements of the "air-curing method" to make it more clear, easy to operate;
--- Reduce "rating index" indicators of impurities, thereby improving product quality.
