Foreword
This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard replaces GB/T 1955-2008 "Building Windlass". The main technical changes compared with GB/T 1955-2008
as follows.
--- Revised the scope of application of the winch (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the.2008 edition);
--- Removed the terms and definitions of high-speed hoist and speed hoist (2008, 3.3, 3.6);
---Modified the definition of fast winch and slow winch (see 3.1.2, 3.1.3,.2008, 3.4, 3.5);
--- Increased the representation of the hoist model code (see 4.2);
--- Increased the minimum breaking force coefficient of different cores of steel core wire rope (see Table 5);
--- Increased the braking torque requirements for non-slip hoist brakes of M6 and above (see 5.4.2);
---Modified the requirements for the strength of the fixed end of the wire rope (see 5.8.4, 5.8.4 of the.2008 edition);
---Modified the conditions for setting the rope arranging device (see 5.9.3, 5.9.3 of the.2008 edition);
--- Modified the minimum number of work cycles for the hoist reliability test (see 5.13.1, 5.13.1 for the.2008 version);
---Modified the safety factor for the calculation of welded reels (see D.2, D.1 of the.2008 edition);

1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules for construction winches (hereinafter referred to as "hoist").
As well as signs and storage.
This standard applies to motor-driven hoists used in construction and installation projects. Other methods of hoisting machines can also be used.
Use as directed.
This standard also applies to hoists with up, down, horizontal and tilting moving loads.
