This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for standardization work Part 1.Structure and drafting rules for standardization documents"

This document is Part 1 of GB/T 19228 "Stainless steel press fittings".
GB/T 19228 has published the following parts.
--- Part 1.Compression fittings;
--- Part 2.Thin-walled stainless steel pipes for connection;
--- Part 3.O-rings.
This document replaces GB/T 19228.1-2011 "Stainless steel compression fittings Part 1.Compression fittings" and GB/T 19228.1-
Compared with.2011, in addition to editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.
a) The nominal pressure range has been changed to not more than PN25 (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the.2011 edition);
b) Delete the dimensions of S-type pipe fittings and D-type pipe fittings II series (see Table 3 and Table 4 of the.2011 edition);
c) The sizes of the European standard series of S-type pipe fittings (still referred to as S-type II series in this document) have been added (see Table 3);
d) The length LΔ from the socket end of the S-type pipe fitting to the center of the sealing ring is increased (see Table 3);
e) Added the structural type and basic dimensions of compression flange joints (see 5.11);
f) The content of the temperature change (hot and cold water cycle) test has been changed (see 7.6.4, 7.6 of the.2011 edition);
g) Added Appendix A to set additional requirements for O-rings used in stainless steel compression fittings (see Appendix A);
h) Added Appendix B Additional requirements for thin-walled stainless steel pipes used for stainless steel press fittings (see Appendix B).
