Foreword
This standard replaces GB/T 19198-2003 "Test Method for precious metals and their alloys platinum thermal electromotive force."
This standard compared with GB/T 19198-2003, the main changes are as follows.
--- The standard name was changed to "precious metals and their alloys of platinum, copper thermal EMF measurement method";
--- Increased precious metals and their alloys measured in the temperature range of 0 ℃ ~ 200 ℃ copper thermal electromotive force;
--- Increasing the comparison electrode copper purity, size;
--- Increase the comparison electrode wire cleaning, annealing treatment;
--- Compared with the original standards were editorial changes in the text as well as a schematic aspect.
Appendix A of this standard is the data appendix.
The standard proposed by China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association.

4.1 standard electrode
Platinum wire, diameter 0.2mm ~ 1mm, a length of 800mm ~ 1000mm. Flag purity amount W (100 ℃) ≥1.3920,
W (100 ℃) measured according to GB/T 5977 carried out. Pure platinum wire first with 30% hydrochloric acid solution boiling 15min, after removing the cook with distilled water
Boil several times, until the solution was neutral. The clean platinum wire suspended power-annealing device for annealing, platinum wire surface temperature annealing
Shall be not less than 1100 ℃, no less than 2h.
4.2 copper
Diameter 0.2mm ~ 1mm, a length of 800mm ~ 1000mm. Copper purity not less than 99.99%. First with copper wire
