Foreword
GB/T 19066 "Metal Corrugated Composite Gasket for Pipe Flange" is divided into two parts.
---Part 1.PN series;
---Part 2.Class series.
This part is Part 1 of GB/T 19066.
This section was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This part replaces GB/T 19066.1-2008 "Flexible Graphite Metal Corrugated Composite Gasket Dimensions" and GB/T 19066.3-
2003 "Technical Conditions for Flexible Graphite Metal Corrugated Composite Gaskets", which is consistent with GB/T 19066.1-2008 and GB/T 19066.3-2003
The main technical changes are as follows.
---The scope of application of gaskets has deleted the Class series (see Chapter 1 of GB/T 19066.1-2008);
---Modified the gasket size of PN series (see Chapter 4, Chapter 3 of GB/T 19066.1-2008);
--- Deleted the gasket size of the Class series (see Chapter 3 of GB/T 19066.1-2008);
---Add some commonly used metal framework materials and regulate the use temperature, and increase the requirements of commonly used materials for the covering layer (see 5.1);
---The recommended value content of the metal frame structure parameter has been added, and the limit deviation of the relevant size of the metal frame has been revised (see 5.2,
Chapter 3 of GB/T 19066.3-2003);
---Modified gasket process requirements (see 5.2, Chapter 3 of GB/T 19066.3-2003);
--- Deleted the requirements for gaskets with split spacers (see 3.1.6 of GB/T 19066.3-2003);
---Modified the limit deviation of the inner and outer diameters and thickness dimensions (see 5.3, GB/T 19066.3-2003, 3.1.5, 3.2.3);

The basic wave-tooth gasket is suitable for tongue-groove and concave-convex flanges. The structure type is shown in Figure 1.
