Foreword
GB/T 18997 "Aluminum-plastic composite pressure pipe" is divided into two parts.
---Part 1.Aluminum pipe lap welded aluminum-plastic pipe;
---Part 2.Butt-welded aluminum-plastic pipe of aluminum pipe.
This part is Part 1 of GB/T 18997.
This section was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This part replaces GB/T 18997.1-2003 "Aluminum-plastic composite pressure pipe Part 1.Aluminum pipe lap welded aluminum-plastic pipe", and
Compared with GB/T 18997.1-2003, the main technical changes are as follows.
---Modified the scope (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the.2003 edition);
---Modified the content of 3.1, and added the terms of "design temperature", "maximum design temperature", "fault temperature" and "design pressure"
Definition, rearranged into Chapter 3 (see Chapter 3, 3.1 in the.2003 edition);
---Modified the content of 3.2, added abbreviations, and reorganized it into Chapter 4 (see Chapter 4, 3.2 in the.2003 edition);
---Added random copolymer polypropylene overlap welding aluminum-plastic pipe and related technical requirements (see Chapter 5 and Chapter 7);
---Modified the classification of lap welded aluminum-plastic pipes (see 5.1, 4.1.2 of the.2003 edition);
---Added the use condition level (see 5.2.1);
---Modified the working conditions of lap-welded aluminum-plastic pipes for cold water and hot and cold water.
5.2.2, 4.1.1 of the.2003 version);
---Modified "long-term working temperature" to "design temperature" and "allowable working pressure" to "design pressure", and modified gas lap welding accordingly
The temperature value of the aluminum-plastic pipe, and the classification of compressed air has been added (see 5.2.3, 4.1.1 in the.2003 edition);
---Modified the material requirements for overlap welding aluminum-plastic pipes (see Chapter 6, Chapter 5 of the.2003 edition);
---Modified the technical requirements for aluminum materials, the tensile strength should not be less than 115MPa (see 6.5, 5.4 in the.2003 edition);
---Increase the oxidation induction time, T peel strength, yield strength, and elongation at break requirements of hot melt adhesives (see 6.6);
---Added the color requirements for overlap-welded aluminum-plastic pipes for compressed air and for special fluids (see 7.1);
---Added 2 specifications dn14 and dn18, and increased the thickness tolerance of the aluminum layer of each specification (see 7.3.3);
---Added the minimum thickness requirements of the aluminum layer of each specification of lap welded aluminum-plastic pipes for hot water (see 7.3.3);
---Modified the blasting strength requirements (see 7.7, 6.6 in the.2003 edition);
---Modified the hydrostatic test conditions of polyethylene overlap welded aluminum-plastic pipes, and added the hydrostatic test conditions of polypropylene overlap welded aluminum-plastic pipes (see 7.8, 6.7 in the.2003 edition);
---The requirements for thermal stability under hydrostatic conditions have been added (see 7.9);
---Modified the size group and nominal outer diameter range of the pipe (see 9.2.2, 8.5.4 in the.2003 edition);
---Amended Appendix C, reorganized into Appendix A, and added additional requirements for double-sided hot-melt socket fittings for PPAP pipes (see Appendix A, Appendix C of the.2003 edition);
--- Deleted Appendix D, increased the cyclic pressure shock test method and the vacuum test method (see Appendix D and Appendix E, Appendix D in the.2003 edition).

Aluminum-plastic composite pressure pipe
Part 1.Aluminum pipe lap welded aluminum plastic pipe
1 Scope
This part of GB/T 18997 specifies the use of embedded lap welded aluminum pipe as the reinforced metal layer, which is combined with the inner and outer plastic layers by co-extrusion hot melt adhesive.
The terms and definitions, symbols and abbreviations, classification, conditions of use and markings of aluminum-plastic composite pressure pipes (referred to as lap welded aluminum-plastic pipes) made of composite materials,
Materials, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation and storage.
This part is applicable to heat-resistant polyethylene overlap-welded aluminum-plastic pipes, cross-linked polyethylene overlap-welded aluminum-plastic pipes and random copolymer polypropylene used in cold and hot water distribution systems.
Polyethylene overlap welded aluminum-plastic pipe is also suitable for cold water, gas, compressed air and special fluid distribution systems whose working temperature is not higher than 40℃.
Welded aluminum-plastic pipe and cross-linked polyethylene overlap-welded aluminum-plastic pipe.
Note. Polyethylene overlap-welded aluminum-plastic pipe, heat-resistant polyethylene overlap-welded aluminum-plastic pipe, and cross-linked polyethylene overlap-welded aluminum-plastic pipe are connected by internal sealing mechanically, and random copolymer polypropylene
The welded aluminum-plastic pipe adopts double-sided hot-melt socket connection.
