This document replaces GB/T 18888-2002 "Linen Cotton". Compared with GB/T 18888-2002, except for structural adjustments and editorial changes
In addition, the main technical changes are as follows.
a) Deleted product classification (see Chapter 4 of the.2002 edition);
b) Changed the technical requirements index (see Table 1, Table 1 of the.2002 edition), and changed the revision requirements for moisture regain (see Table 1, of the.2002 edition)

d) Change the sampling requirements (see 6.1, 7.1 of the.2002 edition);

1 Scope
This document defines the terms and definitions of linen cotton, specifies the technical requirements for linen cotton, describes the corresponding test methods, inspection rules,

3 Terms and Definitions
The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 3291.1, GB/T 5707 and the following apply to this document.
3.1
The second coarse flax and other flax fibers (such as combed noil and combed noil) are directly used for spinning flax fibers after deep processing.
Note. The second coarse flax is the flax short fibers that fall during the process of beating into hemp.
3.2
After processing, it is flax fiber with an average length of less than 40mm in a loose state.
3.3
After processing, it is flax fiber with an average length between 40mm and 55mm.
