This standard replaces GB/T 18674-2002 "General technical conditions for fishing ropes". This standard is compared with GB/T 18674-2002 except
In addition to editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.
--- Increased use of polypropylene ropes for fishing, high-strength polypropylene multifilament ropes, polyester ropes and UHMW-PE ropes (Chapter 1,

1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and marking, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, labels, packaging, and transportation of fishing ropes.

--- Three polyamide strands with a nominal diameter of 4 mm to 72 mm and four polyamides with a nominal diameter of 10 mm to 72 mm
Eight strands and twelve strands of polyamide braid rope with nominal diameter 12mm~72mm;
--- Three strands of polyethylene strands with a nominal diameter of 4 mm to 72 mm, and four strands of polyethylene with a nominal diameter of 10 mm to 72 mm
