Foreword
This standard is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard instead of GB/T 17897-1999 "stainless steel iron chloride point corrosion test method", compared with GB/T 17897-1999 main
The technical changes are as follows.
- according to the different types of stainless steel to increase the supply and demand agreement between the two sides of the test solution (see Chapter 4,.1999 edition
Chapter 4);
- Revise the recommended test stand to a suitable glass holder (see chapter 5.1,.1999 edition, chapter 5);
- Revise the test temperature to select the appropriate test temperature according to the selected test method (see Chapter 6.1,.1999, Chapter 6);
- Revise the test time to select the appropriate test time according to the selected test method (see 6.3,.1999, Chapter 6).
This standard is proposed by China Iron and Steel Industry Association.
This standard is under the jurisdiction of the National Steel Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC183).
The drafting of this standard unit. Baosteel Stainless Steel Co., Ltd., Metallurgical Industry Information Standards Institute, Steel Research Institute.
The main drafters of this standard. Luo Ming, Hou Jie, Xu Zhongjie, Jiang Lai Zhu, Feng Han.
This standard replaced the previous version of the standard release.

3 Preparation of the sample
3.1 The total surface area of the specimen should be above 10cm2.
3.2 Cut the specimen from the test material so that the cross-sectional area perpendicular to the rolling or forging direction should be less than 1/2 of the total area of the specimen.
3.3 Specimens are machined for cutting. When cutting methods are used, the section of the specimen is machined by cutting or grinding to eliminate
The effect of cutting.
3.4 In order to reduce the effect of corrosion on the test results, consider the data comparison, the sampling direction and method should be consistent, and should do
It is possible to use thin specimens of the same size or close to each other. The reference size of the sample is (30 mm to 50 mm) x (20 mm to 30 mm)
The thickness of ~ 5mm).
3.5 When the sample thickness is not more than 5mm, the original thickness of the specimen can be used as the thickness of the test specimen.
3.6 When the sample thickness is greater than 5mm, the test sample should be retained as the original surface, from the other side to the sample thickness.
3.7 When the scale is attached to the specimen, it is removed by cutting or grinding.
3.8 Specimen for all surfaces of the sample Particle size conforms to the abrasive cloth or sandpaper specified in GB/T 2481.1. Grinding to avoid
fever. Finally, with the size of the W20 water sandpaper for wet grinding.
3.9 If the surface of the specimen has the same roughness requirements, grinding machine can be used.
3.10 Measure the size of the specimen with a vernier caliper, calculate the total area of the specimen, and the effective area of the test.
