Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with GB/T 1.1-2009 given rules. This standard replaces GB/T 17616-1998 "steel and alloy unified numbering system." This standard compared with GB/T 17616-1998 standards, the main changes are as follows. --- Remove the "Definitions" chapter (see 3, 1998); --- Added "there should be no gap between the arrangement of letters and numbers" provisions (see 3.2); --- The "precision alloys and other special physical properties of materials" to "Metallic Functional Materials", the "tool steel" to "mold Steel "(see Table 1); --- Added "encoding rules" to modify the fine classification of some products and (or) their products mainly consist grades Unified numbering (see Chapter 6, 1998 edition Tables 2 to 16). The standard proposed by China Iron and Steel Association. This standard by the National Steel Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC183) centralized. This standard was drafted. Metallurgical Industry Information Standards Institute, Shougang Corporation. The main drafters of this standard. Wear strong, Luan Yan, Shi Li, Wang Liping. This standard supersedes the previous editions are. --- GB/T 17616-1998. Steel and alloy unified numbering system

1 Scope

This standard specifies the grades of steel and alloy products unified digital code (abbreviated "ISC" code) of the General Regulations, structure type, classification and coding Group, coding rules, preparation and management. This standard applies to the preparation of grades of steel and alloy products Unified numbering. Where the inclusion of national standards and industry-standard steel and alloy Products should also be included in the product trademark and Unified numbering, cross-referencing, two representations are valid.

3 General

3.1 standard product classifications, definitions and product brands names should comply with the relevant provisions of the standards set out in Chapter 2. 3.2 unified digital code by a fixed six symbols, uppercase first left for Latin prefix (generally do not use "I" and "O" Letters), there should be no contact between the rear Five-digit Arabic numerals, letters and numbers gap arrangement. 3.3 Each unified digital code applies only to one product grade; on the contrary, each one corresponding to a Grade only numerals. when After Grade canceled, under normal circumstances, the unified digital code corresponding to the original is no longer assigned to another product brands.

4 structure type

Unified digital code in the form of the following structure.
