This section GB/T Part of 417,418.
This Part replaces GB/T 17418.4-1998 "analysis of noble metals in geochemical samples enriched thiourea - Catalytic spectrophotometry
Determination of the amount of iridium. "
This section compared with the GB/T 17418.4-1998, the main changes are as follows.
--- Increased warning;
--- Clearly indicate the mass fraction measurement range;
--- Instrument adds balance;
--- Specification standard noun;
--- The "standard sample" to "standard material";
--- Modify supplements the results of the calculation;
--- Modify simplifies sample scale test solution dispensing scale content;
--- Change some sequence of reagents and samples sulfide bake conditions.

Principle 3
In addition to burning through the sample after sulfur and organic matter, sodium peroxide decomposition. Water extraction to sulfuric acid, hydrofluoric acid added in addition to silicon. In concentrated sulfuric acid medium
Stroma, when heated to 230 ℃, thiourea and iridium, rhodium, platinum, palladium and other precious metal elements generate sulfide precipitation to separate with a large base metals. plus
Nitric acid - sulfuric acid to dissolve and destroy the filter paper and precipitate sulfur. Then lithium sulfate - sodium pyrosulfate melt, iridium, rhodium, platinum group elements into sulphate
Complex. Iridium can catalyze the use of cerium (Ⅳ) - oxidation of arsenic (Ⅲ) reduction reaction system, and the catalytic reaction rate is proportional to the concentration of iridium, whereby
Determination of Trace Iridium.
When using a fixed concentration, determination scope is 2ng/mL ~ 10ng/mL; fixed time method is 0.2ng/mL ~ 2ng/mL.
The reaction time can be measured down to 0.01ng/mL iridium.
